The House of Trouble is a visceral exploration of identity and the forces we endure or inflict to define ourselves, our world, and our freedom. Opening with the plea, “We need you. Use us,” the performance draws us into a world where individuality, diversity, and self-determination take center stage, celebrating what defies the ordinary.
This piece is like a circus of life, where courage, boldness, and discipline are met with applause - until the illusion unravels and the darker edges of our fears emerge. Here, performers shift between vulnerability and strength, confronting the violence that bubbles beneath the surface of every societal ideal.
The House of Trouble is a celebration of transformation and the absurd contrasts society imposes on us, embracing the joy and complexity of our multidimensional bodies. It’s a party for those who dare to dance on the edges of truth and spectacle.
