In a world where people are too afraid to speak, act, or live, fear paralyzes them. Every step, breath, and decision is weighed down by insecurity. How would we move if consumed by panic? How does fear shape our society?

SCARED is a kinetic allegory of fear, a darkly comic reflection on a world paralyzed by anxiety. It imagines a society where every action, word, and breath is ruled by panic filtering every choice and perception. Through movement, SCARED explores how fear shapes our bodies and behavior, asking what courage could mean when fear becomes the norm.

The piece captures a world driven by insecurity, the loss of reason and control to terror, and the loneliness that emerges when togetherness collapses – a constantly failing celebration of life, echoing the modern Greek and global tragedies of our era – a mirror of our own time, where fear itself has become a way of life.
