Work presented at the Moving Balkans Showcase 2026: Unfolded Moments
Dancer and choreographer Kristýna Peldová (Czechia/Slovenia) and multidisciplinary artist Enya Belak (Slovenia/UK) joined forces in 2023 for their first collaboration, exploring the relationship between dance, movement, and visual media. Their work focuses on video projections and the interplay of analogue and digital techniques. Unfolded Moments marks this initial collaboration and was produced by the Slovenian Institute Flota.
In 2023, Kristýna Peldová received a grant from the Slovenian Ministry of Culture to further explore the synergy and dissonance between dance and video projection, enabling an in-depth artistic collaboration with Belak that led to the creation of Unfolded Moments.
