Mockumentary is a stark reflection on Macedonian society, exposing not only visible structures of state violence but also the quieter, more pervasive forces of fear, numbness, and complicity. The work deliberately rejects comfort or resolution, offering no emotional release, only the unease of recognition.

Through fragmented and nonlinear storytelling, it dismantles conventional narratives and reveals how repression operates in everyday gestures and silences. Rather than portraying clear heroes or villains, Mockumentary exposes the systems that teach us to accept and adapt – a haunting exploration of how resignation becomes survival. As the bitter local saying goes: “Nothing changes here.”
