Austria. Classically trained, she holds a BA in contemporary dance from the Belgrade Dance Institute. Her choreographic work includes productions such as ASSIMILATE, CONTROLLER?, and PLAY-RE-PLAY, the latter earning her the Critic Award and third prize at the Choreographic Miniature Festival in Belgrade (2024). As a performer, she has collaborated with international choreographers including Silke Grabinger, Christophe Béranger, Jonathan Pranlas-Descours, and many others. Sonja’s practice emphasizes audience interaction and community engagement, particularly through her role as artistic director of Magent association in Veliki Gaj, Serbia.
