14 May / 12:00 PM / Menza
15 May / 12:00 PM / Menza

Duration: 90 min
With the aim of increasing the visibility of Moving Balkans artists and exploring the touring potential of their work, we are organising Coffee with the Top 10 Moving Balkans artists, conceived as a relaxed and informal session bringing together artists and programmers attending the Showcase.
This informal gathering will last up to one hour, during which three to four programmers can book time slots to meet with artists, discover their work, and engage in conversation. The event is designed to be easygoing, with participants seated together around a table, accompanied by aperitifs and snacks. A moderator will be present to provide an introduction and ensure a smooth flow of the session.
You will need to book one slot to begin with, but you are welcome to continue conversations or move on to other artists afterward. Booking information: TBA.
PANEL: Connecting the Puzzle
Collaborative models for development of contemporary dance in region and wider
14 May / 4:00 PM / SKCNS (Gallery)

Duration: 90 min
Connecting the Puzzle is a brainstorming and exchange session bringing together representatives of public cultural institutions, independent organizations, international cultural institutes, regional platforms, and professional networks to reflect on how different levels of the cultural ecosystem: local, regional, and European, can be better connected in support of contemporary dance.
The session is centred around the question:
“Which links between the local, regional, and European levels can strengthen the sustainable development of contemporary dance?”
The event will take the form of a moderated discussion forum. It will include introductions of the invited guests and the organizations they represent, followed by a focused conversation on the possibilities for closer collaboration between different actors in the contemporary dance ecosystem. The discussion, moderated by Jovana Zdjelarević, will reflect on how stronger links between the local, regional, and European levels can support the sustainable development of contemporary dance, and what could help improve the ecosystem in terms of mobility, visibility, support, partnerships, and knowledge exchange. The final part of the session will be dedicated to an open mic, allowing audience members to ask questions and share comments with the invited participants.
Panelists:
Caroline Sotta: Teatroskop, French Institute in Serbia
Mateusz Czekaj: Polish Institute of Music and Dance
Anna Arthur: Aerowaves – Dance Across Europe
Iztok Kovač: Pan–Adria Network
