Ermira Goro is an innovative movement and performance artist recognized for her interdisciplinary approach and distinctive creative voice. From 2007 to 2018, she was a long-term collaborator of the world-renowned DV8 Physical Theatre, a period that deeply shaped her artistic trajectory and positioned her within an influential lineage of physically driven performance work. In 2022, she was nominated for Outstanding Performer at The Bessies – New York Dance and Performance Awards, acknowledging the depth, imagination, and precision of her performance practice. Her works have been widely supported and presented at festivals and venues across Greece and internationally, consistently receiving critical acclaim for their inventive structure, refined physical language, and the unique perspective she brings to contemporary performance. She is an Aerowaves Twenty25 Artist.
